Answers to your most important questions
Choosing a care home for a loved one is one of the most important decisions a family can make. We want you to feel fully informed and confident every step of the way.
About our home
We are a licensed Ambulatory Care facility in New York State — a small, residential home setting that provides personal care and supervision for seniors who need assistance with daily living. Our home is intentionally small so every resident receives individualized, attentive care in a true family environment.
Our home is founded and directed by a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of clinical experience. This means residents benefit from professional health oversight every day, not just during scheduled visits. Our entire care team is trained, compassionate, and dedicated to treating every resident like family.
We are located at 241 Fulton Street, West Babylon, NY 11704 — a quiet residential neighborhood on Long Island, easily accessible from surrounding communities.
Absolutely — we encourage it. We welcome families to schedule a personal tour so you can see the home, meet our staff, and get a feel for the warm environment we provide. Please contact us to arrange a convenient time.
Care & services
We provide personal care and supervision including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, medication management, and daily activities. Our RN director provides health monitoring and coordinates with physicians and specialists. We are best suited for seniors who need assistance with daily living and health oversight but do not require 24/7 skilled nursing or hospital-level care.
We are able to accommodate residents in early to moderate stages of memory-related conditions in some cases. We evaluate each prospective resident individually to ensure we can meet their specific needs safely and effectively. Please contact us to discuss your loved one's situation.
Our RN director closely monitors each resident's health and will communicate proactively with families if needs change. If a resident requires a higher level of care than we can safely provide, we will work with the family to coordinate an appropriate transition — always with the resident's wellbeing as the priority.
Yes, three nutritious home-cooked meals and snacks are included daily. We accommodate a wide range of dietary needs including diabetic, low-sodium, soft, and pureed diets. We also honor cultural food preferences and personal tastes — mealtime is an important and enjoyable part of life here.
Pricing & payment
Our rates are based on the level of care required and are discussed individually with each family. We believe in transparent, straightforward pricing with no hidden fees. Please contact us directly to discuss rates for your loved one's specific needs.
As a licensed Adult Care Facility, our services are generally private pay. Medicare does not typically cover residential care home services. Medicaid coverage depends on individual eligibility and program specifics. We recommend speaking with a benefits counselor or social worker to understand your options, and we are happy to discuss payment arrangements with families.
Many long-term care insurance policies cover Adult Care Facility services. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to verify your specific coverage. We can provide documentation to support insurance claims as needed.
Admissions & getting started
The first step is simply reaching out to us — by phone or through our contact form. We will schedule a conversation to learn about your loved one's needs, answer your questions, and arrange a tour if you would like. From there, we will guide you through each step of the admissions process.
Because we maintain a small, intentional home setting, availability is limited. We encourage families who are considering placement to reach out early — even if the need is not immediate — so we can discuss timing and keep you informed of availability.
Yes — family involvement is something we actively encourage. We have an open-door visitation policy and welcome family members to visit, share meals, and participate in their loved one's daily life. Staying connected to family is an important part of our residents' wellbeing.
